Visit of the Chartreuse cellars

The visit is free, and in two parts:

• the historical visit takes about 30 minutes
• the guided tour take about 45 minutes and includes the distillery of the Chartreuse Monks, the cellar, a 3D movie, and a complimentary liqueur tasting

Guided tours start from 9:30. No groups for the last tour of the morning (11:30).

Schedule

The plan is to go to Voiron by train from the hotel on Friday March 14, do the visit, and be back for lunch. We will call them in advance to make a reservation.

The train is a TER (Train Express Régional) and the round-trip ticket costs €35.80 in second class (€53.80 in first class).

The trip to Voiron is not sponsored by the hackathon organization. However, for simplicity, we'll take care of buying the train tickets in advance.
