Halle/Leipzig airport <-> Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (Hbf., main station)
- use S-Bahn (city railway) S5 or S5X (alternative: Intercity trains with stop in Leipzig Hbf) from Deutsche Bahn

- in the middle of the night there's no train but bus line NXL
- airport->main station (arrival): starting a 01:35 and 03:05

- MDV Einzelfahrkarte (single route) 90min in three zones 110, 162, 163 for 6,20 EUR (purchase via ticket machine or Deutsche Bahn app)
- S-Bahn ticket is NOT valid for bus & tram in Leipzig -> additional ticket from LVB required!
Hauptbahnhof (main station) <-> Hotel Michaelis (venue)
- use tram 11 to Doelitz (Dolitz with 1 German umlaut) or tram 16 to Loessnig (2 German umlauts, you might read LoBnig)
- exit at Hohe Str., hotel is at next crossing street Paul-Gruner-Str. to your left
- that's 4 stops, so 2,30 EUR Kurzstrecke (short route) is enough

Car
There's exceptionally much roadwork in Leipzig around April 2025. Major roads are blocked. Expect extra time and be sure to have up-to-date navigation instructions!
Caution: "Umweltzone" (low emission zone) - most of Leipzig, including the venue, must not be entered with cars without a green badge

Parking:

- anywhere else parking is either paid, limited for a few hours or most often already occupied--all of these exist around the hotel
