Lunch at the Venue

We will get a vegetarian lunch each day.

There will also be coffee, drinks and small snacks provided by the venue.

If we need more snacks for coffee breaks, we will get them from nearby supermarkets and bakeries.

This is a beer-garden style place in the "Wurstlprater", the big amusement park. You have to pay for your own food & drinks (so please try to remember what you had..). We reserved indoor and outdoor under "Perl Toolchain Summit" or just "Perl", or just ask for the big group of people. This event is open for all, so we have a bunch of Vienna.pm and Geizhals members also showing up.

To get there from the venue, just walk, either to Praterstern and pass below "Riesenrad" (the giant ferris wheel), or cross Lasallestrasse and walk through "Stuwerviertel". Both routes are a bit over 1km.

If you have time before or after, you can do some of the rides in Prater. Each ride has its own entry fee, so you can spend a few Euros on one ride, or as much as you want if you want to take more rides. If you need ride recommendations, ask Thomas Klausner (‎domm‎) in the Signal group :-)

This event is for attendees only and sponsored. Here we get a three course meal (you can pick between various options for each course). One drink per attendee is covered. It's indoor only.

"Stuwer" is a aprox 1km walk.
